Staying here felt like a dream, and I’ll treasure the memory for the rest of my life. The house was like something from a fairy tale, and I can’t say enough about Peter and Iris’s hospitality. Peter and Iris, if you read this, thank you for such a wonderful stay. I wish you both all the best and hope I can come back someday.

The breakfast was a real treat, with lovely food and even a bottle of champagne. Our room was spotless, and the bed was so comfortable that it was tempting to stay in instead of heading out to Bruges. Peter, Phylis and Mr. Darcy welcomed us so warmly that we felt right at home. The hotel is wonderful, with charming little details throughout the rooms that won us over. Highly recommend it as the best B&B in Bruges. We won’t want to try anywhere else!

Everything went smoothly from booking through departure, and the breakfast was among the best I’ve had at a B&B. We even had a bottle of champagne. Iris, Peter and Mr. Darcy gave us a warm welcome, and you can tell the house is run with real passion. It’s decorated with antiques, each with its own history, and we loved listening to the hosts’ stories. Thanks again for the stay. We’d highly recommend B&B Poppy’s for an authentic visit to Bruges.

We couldn’t stay for breakfast because we had an early start, but the lovely couple packed us a bag with delicious sandwiches, eggs, fresh fruit and Christmas chocolates. We really enjoyed our December stay at Peter and his wife’s lovely place. The room was beautifully set up, with everything we needed, from bathrobes and slippers to a kettle, creams and lotions. The bathroom was spotless and had plenty of toiletries too. Their dog is adorable. The location is very good, within walking distance of the centre, and a cab from the train station was 13-15 euros.
