The rooms were gorgeous and the location was central. Staff were easy to reach and quick to answer my questions before our weekend stay in Bruges. It was perfect, and I’d recommend it! :))

The location is excellent, just a two-minute walk from the belfry and easy to reach anywhere in town. Our room was very spacious, and there was a huge shared lounge and kitchen as well as a laundry room. I liked the simple decor, which still felt luxurious. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We felt lucky to have such a good experience during the last few days of our time in Belgium. Thank you, and I can’t recommend this hotel enough!

An unusual setup with no Reception, but we got used to it quickly. The rooms were spotless and in an ideal location. A fabulous hotel, and I’d recommend it.

The House of Bruges is central, close to many attractions, yet remarkably quiet. The service was outstanding, with a friendly, helpful team. Booking online was easy, and the hotel sent detailed arrival information that made everything straightforward, including directions to the nearest parking garage, the code to enter the building, and how to find our room key. Once inside, we were amazed by how large our room, Winter 2, was. It had very high ceilings and lots of natural light, plus a kettle for tea and a refrigerator. The hotel doesn’t serve food, but guests can use a room for bringing in outside food. It has a microwave, coffee machine, tea kettle, and a few tea cookies. Formerly an apartment, the room is decorated in art deco style and was a perfect spot for breakfast or an evening aperitif. There are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. The House of Bruges made our visit to Bruges a great one, and I highly recommend it.

In the courtyard, you could sit in near silence, with just the occasional tune from a distant church bell. Hard to picture such a peaceful place right in the middle of a big town. We spent two calm nights here, and all the Bruges sights were only minutes away. The bed was large, the place was clean and comfortable, and the location was a delight. Beautiful, quiet, and informal.
