Grand Hotel Casselbergh Bruges

The main hotel area is beautiful, and the Christmas decorations were lovely. Our room was cute and cozy, though quite small. The noise made it very hard to sleep comfortably: we could hear almost everything in the hall, there was a strange, loud vibrating noise that went on day and night, and the TV didn’t work as it should. We didn’t enjoy our stay and asked whether we could check out early. We figured it would be a hard no, but the manager didn’t even ask why, which made me laugh and says a lot. We still have one night left. I travel often and like staying in nice places, and this one falls short in both service and quality. I know there are other places in Bruges at a similar price that are probably better overall. Try somewhere else instead of Casselbergh!

The room was very comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. It’s within walking distance of Bruges’ historic town, and even the gym was quite decent. The reception staff were friendly. The hotel has an old-world charm while still feeling modern. A fantastic place, highly recommended.

The lounges and bars were a real highlight, with attentive service and drinks that were reasonably priced. Breakfast had loads of high-quality choices, and the service there was just as amazing. We stayed three nights in a beautiful place with large, elegant rooms and very comfortable beds, right in the centre. It was expensive, but this level of experience was worth every penny.

The bar and lounge are exquisite, and the service there was excellent. The hotel has a nice atmosphere and makes a very good first impression, right in the heart of Bruge. Staff could be a bit brusque, though. Our room was small, and even as someone who isn’t large, I found the shower stall barely big enough. The spa is just a room with a massage table, and the gym has seen better days, with very limited, poor-quality equipment. We didn’t have breakfast included, and I couldn’t even get a coffee to go.
