Holiday Home Family @ home 97

The neighbors were nice, and the house itself has charm, good furnishings, and a small backyard. But it feels cleaned rather than maintained: the drains smelled, the sink plug was broken, some upstairs blinds were damaged, the patio door was stiff, the front window wouldn’t open, and the sunshade was stuck. The bed upstairs is just a bed, not a separate bedroom. The frosted toilet door has a gap at the top, so sounds carry into the living room. We also felt uneasy about the repeated instructions to leave the house in good condition. In my opinion, the stairs are very dangerous and completely unsuitable for children. The walk is nearly 30 minutes, which felt long, and rental bikes from outside companies such as Nextbike weren’t available. It’s a nice house, but repairs don’t seem to get done.

It’s a 10-minute walk to the old town.
