Hotel Bloemenhof

Beautiful hotel, and we loved our stay. We brought our Bernese Mountain Dog, and they gave her a little gift bag with a chew stick, treats, poop bags and a note about the rules. Dogs can't be left unattended in the room, so don't expect to leave yours there while you go into Brugges. The idea is that dogs spend the day out with their family. Check-in ends at 6pm, an easy detail to miss. The owners will make themselves available if you're late, but please call and let them know. There were weird horns in the distance at night, maybe ships at Port? Just a different sound from what we're used to.

The pastries and cheeses at breakfast were the best part, so delicious. We had a lovely autumn stay: the room was clean, the surroundings were beautiful, and there were great restaurants nearby. We’ll definitely come back.

Breakfast was outstanding, and our room was clean and comfortable, though a little small. This is a really lovely boutique hotel run by two very friendly guys. The only drawback is that it’s about 15 minutes out of town, which is awkward if you both want to enjoy a few of the lovely beers in town.

Madame Monique gave us a lovely plan and advice for Sluise, which guided us around Brugge perfectly. The hotel itself is beautiful, with thoughtful, tasteful furnishings, and we’d highly recommend it. Every so often you can smell the farm animals nearby, which felt very authentic 😉😘 Thank you!
