The kind staff accommodated a later checkout when my transport was delayed, and I could store my luggage after checkout. The room was large, with big windows overlooking a canal, and had a table fan, a thoughtful touch for summer since there’s no AC. Breakfast was filling. The hotel is close to the city center and within walking distance of the train station.

I just needed a local place to sleep and somewhere to chain up my motorcycle. They offered me use of the garage for the bike. The room was clean, the bed comfy, and it’s central, about 10 minutes from the main square, all for the best price.

The Ensor has plenty of character. It's an old building, and the oddly angled corridors are part of its charm. Marc, the proprietor, was friendly and very helpful. It's on a quiet backstreet near the centre, and handy for the station too. If you're after chrome and black paint with a five-star look, this isn't the place. I recommend it if you like somewhere with character.

We had a spacious, very clean room, and breakfast was included in the price. It was simple but good. The hotel is right in the centre of Brugge, with bars and restaurants close by and everything within walking distance. The man at reception was friendly and really helpful.

The included breakfast was a nice touch, especially since that seems to be disappearing from so many hotels. Our room was great too. We arrived two hours before check-in, but the staff arranged an early check-in for us without any trouble. They were really helpful and accommodating.
