John and Michael are wonderful hosts, greeting us so warmly and making sure nothing was too much trouble. We arrived late on Friday evening, but they showed us to our room and shared plenty of information about the city. The hotel itself is beautiful, with intricate interiors throughout, a lovely base for a Bruges stay. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of high-quality fresh choices: yogurt, fruit, granola, breads and pastries, eggs, bacon, smoked salmon, freshly squeezed juices, tea, coffee, and more. Our immaculate room was impeccably clean, with a large bathroom, comfortable bed, fridge, TV, and air conditioning. I booked through Hotels.com, and the price was great for such an impressive experience and a real lesson in hospitality.

We’re here for two nights in Bruges and already loving it. The room is stunning, with beautiful antiques, plenty of space, a gorgeous deep claw-foot tub, and the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in for ages. Breakfast was lovely, with plenty of delicious options. John and Michael are genuinely kind, thoughtful, and hospitable. They had great suggestions and kept reminding us to ask if we needed anything. The walk from the train station with our luggage wasn’t bad at all, and the town center is very close too. I’m already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend! -Michelle & Jeremy-

We really enjoyed talking with the owners. They were so helpful and gave us lots of good ideas for places to see and eat around the city. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh orange juice, tea and coffee, breads, local cheese, and eggs made to order. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and we could walk to anywhere in the old town in about 10 minutes.

The room was huge, the location was quiet yet close to everything, and the service was lovely. Breakfast was a little awkward one day because there weren't enough tables and we ended up at a small folding table in the corner. The TV also quit on our second night. They fixed it the next day, though the two remote controls made the setup seem a bit precarious. I'd still absolutely recommend staying here.

The view across Bruges and its towers from the skylights was enchanting, and the studio stayed warm and very quiet. It was spacious, with a comfortable living area, dining table, and bedroom. The little kitchen worked well for sandwiches we brought back, and there was a great coffee machine and kettle. John and Micheal were wonderful hosts, helped us carry our bags up three flights, and made us wish we'd booked more than our three December nights. You're about a five-minute walk from most sights, in a quiet, beautiful place full of character. The train station is an easy 15-minute walk through the park. Breakfast had a good range of choices and was served in a lovely room.
