The beds were okay, though not especially comfortable, and the kitchen could use a few extra things, like more than one cutting board. Still, it’s a good base for exploring Bruges: the bus stop is just around the corner, and town is about a 20-minute walk away. The modern interior works well, especially the bathroom. There are separate bedrooms and a roomy living area, so it suits families and groups.

There’s no air conditioning or fans, and I wouldn’t consider it kid friendly. The stairs are dangerous enough that children or adults could easily fall. With no screens on some windows and doors, mosquitoes and spiders get inside when you have to leave the windows open. We also had no trash bags, and there was no laundry or dryer. The owner wasn’t very accommodating, and we were asked for an extra deposit on arrival for some tax. I really don’t recommend booking through VRBO either. I tried to post an honest review, but it hasn’t appeared on their website.

It’s a good place to stay, with good service. The house is nice, though we only found out at the last minute that a neighbor apparently calls the police all the time. It’s also about a 30-minute trip from the city centre.

A very clean, practical house in a super quiet neighborhood, with quality bedding. It’s well placed at the entrance to the city centre and worked perfectly for our family.

We had a wonderful stay. The bedrooms were very generously sized, and the living area was spacious and had everything we needed. Linens and towels were included too. A fantastic rental house.
