Charlotte, the host, was wonderful: helpful, generous and thoughtful. Breakfast was incredible, and the place has just the right detail and style. It’s a 16th-century building lovingly restored with a chic, modern feel. The old features have been brought back to life, while the newer comforts make it luxurious. The pictures don’t really do it justice. The location is close to all the major sites, but far enough off the beaten track to feel private.

I’ve never slept in a better hotel, and I truly recommend it. The breakfast was delicious, especially the fresh bread and edible flowers. Our hostess gave us a warm welcome and was very helpful. The rooms were clean, with fresh towels every other day and daily cleaning. We stayed for a week and will definitely be back.

The room looked out over the garden, and the finishing touches throughout the house were lovely. Charlotte has such a good eye, with modern art and vintage pieces brought together in a really elegant way. We stayed in the large bedroom with a bath and rain shower, which had plenty of room for two. Breakfast was a treat, from the fresh pastries, fruit, yoghurt, cereal, ham, cheese, eggs and bacon to the freshly squeezed orange juice and ground coffee. Charlotte even made eggs, bacon and French toast with red berries, which was delicious. There’s also an honesty bar fridge downstairs with drinks and snacks, plus a treadmill and gym beside the garden. Charlotte was the perfect hostess, and our honeymoon stay was wonderful. We’d happily recommend the Dreamhouse to friends and family visiting Brugges.

A really nice place!

Breakfast was generous and delicious, and the beds were comfortable in lovely rooms. The B&B is only a few minutes on foot from the center of Bruges. Charlotte and the other hosts were very attentive, and Charlotte shared several useful suggestions for things to see and places to go in the city.
