Bonobo Apartments

Hans is a friendly, very helpful host, and the old town location is hard to beat. Apt 16 is right by St John's Hospital, with everything only a short walk away. We spent five nights there and found it comfortable and spacious enough, with a good bed, a terrific shower, and a nice little kitchen. It felt like a home away from home. I’d strongly recommend it for a relaxing stay in Bruges.

We’ve been back to Bonobo for the third time in about ten years, and it’s still excellent. The location by Bishop's Palace is lovely, just a few minutes from the centre, and the secured parking makes things very practical. Hans is friendly and helpful. It’s more like a small apartment than a hotel, with a pleasant lounge, a little kitchen, and a separate bedroom. There’s a supermarket a few minutes away for breakfast supplies.

The accommodation matched its pictures and description, and was quiet, comfortable, and good value. The owners and staff were friendly and professional. There’s a pleasant garden area for morning coffee, accessed from reception. You can walk into the centre in a few minutes, and the train station is a manageable walk too, around 15 minutes, I think.

We’re staying here now, and the views from our third-floor skylight-style windows are breathtaking. The rooms are large and modern, with a full kitchen and a huge bathroom with an excellent shower. The owner is very nice and helpful, and the price is very reasonable. Coffee and tea are available in the lobby. I hope to come back next year.
