The location was good, and breakfast was nice. The breakfast employees were decent too. Still, this accommodation wasn't acceptable for me, even if others might be fine with it. The biggest issue was the lack of a fridge or minibar in the apartment. It caused us a lot of trouble. When I asked the breakfast employees, they suggested putting our things in the shared kitchen fridge, which wasn't practical. The bathroom, bathtub, and toilet were also open to the bedroom in a really awful design, with no privacy. I was upset by this. An employee said not all apartments have that design, but I couldn't change rooms. The room was assigned without my consent, and it was impossible to get hold of anyone. We could only contact the owners through Booking.com messages, and replies took a very long time or were ignored. The stairs were narrow, the rooms upstairs, and there was no elevator, so carrying heavy luggage was hard. On our first night, lots of teenagers made horrible noise on the ceiling after midnight, with no control from building management.

I was in Brussels for work and stayed in the David Bove room. The room concept is really original, with guests able to sketch their dreams, which are then sent to the artist. Some of the pictures there came from those sketches. It feels like the owners are genuinely committed to art. The street was quiet the whole time, and Saint Catherine is a 10 minutes walk away, so the location worked well. Samira manages the place exceptionally and made breakfast just for me, with fried eggs and freshly squeezed orange juice. She made me feel looked after while still leaving me independent. Her attention made the stay even better. The place has character, and I'll return. Bravo to Samira for doing it so well.

The location is great, in a quiet area but still close to the city centre. I loved the artsy interior, and each room is named after a different artist, which makes B&B Druum feel really unique. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly, and breakfast was delicious. I had an amazing stay and would definitely stay here again if I visit Brussels.

After busy workdays in Brussels, I loved having a roomy place to come back and unwind. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the simple decor made each piece feel special. Breakfast was made fresh, and coffee and tea were available in the kitchen at any hour. The staff were kind and polite, check-in was easy, and getting around by bus or on foot was straightforward. DRUUM has become my new favourite place to stay in Brussels.
