We paid a small fortune, and the place is in such bad shape that we’d have moved elsewhere if it hadn’t been so expensive to book. The bathroom is generally rundown: its window is broken at the hinge, the shower takes at least five minutes to warm up and never gets more than barely warm, and I had to pull hair from the drain because the water wouldn’t go down. The kettle leaks and can’t be filled above the minimum line, and part of the fridge has melted. The only thing this room has over a hostel is that we don’t share a bathroom with strangers. It doesn’t feel secure either, since stairs from the back garden lead to the back patio beside the broken bathroom window. Noise comes from everywhere and echoes, including other rooms and a loud school nearby.

The nights were very quiet, and we got a good rest. Free parking is across the street, and contactless check in after 6 was really handy. We stayed two nights, though our second floor smelled like weed on the first night and the shower had very weak water pressure. We paid €75 per night, but given the condition of everything, €55-€65 seems like a fairer rate. It’s a decent option if a good night’s sleep is what you’re after.

Everything is broken and badly needs work. The handle on our room door was literally falling apart. As a bed and a bathroom it’s okay, but this is a trash place. Don’t stay, even if it’s cheap.

We have a complaint about the room, which was much worse than expected. A bad smell hit me when I entered the building, and I took it as a bad sign. The room was very dated, with a rusty, burned refrigerator and a kettle and microwave that looked straight from a second hand shop. At around 58 euros, that’s just too much.
