Hotel Fleur de Ville

Hotel Fleur De Ville made a lasting impression from the start. The former bank building is striking, with Beaux-Arts architecture, mosaic floors and elegant details. The spaces feel carefully designed and full of character, bringing together history and modern comfort. It’s somewhere you enjoy spending time, not just sleeping. The team is warm, attentive and genuinely caring. Guests feel looked after, including when travel delays come up or when the staff help arrange special touches for occasions like honeymoons. The hotel is right in central Brussels, an easy walk from the Grand Place and close to De Brouckère metro station, yet it stays quiet and peaceful despite the busy streets nearby. The design, service and location make for a personal, refined stay.

The staff were very friendly, and I liked the hotel’s lounge with its drinks and sweets. My room was quite clean, I didn’t notice anything odd, and there was a cute box of chocolates waiting in the room. One small thing let it down: there wasn’t a toothbrush when I arrived. They gladly brought one after I asked, but at a 5 star hotel I’d expect little things like that to be ready.

My husband and I picked this hotel for our anniversary, and it was perfect. I’ve stayed in countless hotels around Europe, and this may be the most delightful one I’ve experienced. The rooms are full of beautiful original features, and the décor mixes art deco, contemporary touches and charming antiques. The staff made the stay especially memorable: warm, welcoming and professional, with helpful recommendations and advice and real attention to detail. I hope to return soon, and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, unforgettable stay in Brussels.

The hotel is beautiful, with a lovely bathroom and high ceiling, and the bedroom has a cosy feel. It’s near the square, but street noise can interrupt your sleep if you’re sensitive to it. I used earplugs. I had a great stay overall, and breakfast was nice 👍🏽
