Numa Brussels Royal Galleries

The lobby was a real plus for a solo guest or a short business stay. There's room to work, with 15+ seats, and it stays useful if you have a late flight. Free lockers are available for luggage too. The room was decent and very quiet, and the location is close to everything. I couldn't stand the green light on the Wi-Fi/router attached to the ceiling, especially at night. Please fix it. The fridge didn't work either, and nobody cleaned the room during the two days I was there, not even taking out the trash. I don't understand how that can happen.

The location is excellent, about a ten-minute walk from Central station, with supermarkets, cafes, and restaurants close by. The lobby is beautiful, with nice furniture and modern art, and there were complimentary beer, juice, and snacks in the fridge. The rooms are small but attractive, and the gym is the best-equipped hotel gym I've used. I won't be back, though. A ventilation grill was sticking out of the wall above our heads and looked like it might fall. It felt dangerous, especially with my child there. After I reported it, tech support did the right thing and moved us, but I thought the replacement room was a downgrade: the window was tiny with hardly any view, and I found a couple of long hairs in the bed. When we returned around 9 pm one evening, our pin wouldn't open the door. I had to contact support on WhatsApp to reactivate it, and they thought we were still in the old room. Don't they communicate with each other? If everything had gone smoothly, this would have been a five-star stay.

Everything is handled through the app, which is easy to use, so you don't need staff on site. The hotel is lovely and perfectly placed, right in front of the galleriea. The rooms are roomy and very clean, the Wi-Fi is good, and there's a big lobby where you can sit and relax. The price feels fair for what you get.

This is one of those newer hotels with no staff, and you use the code they send before arrival for everything. The reception area is huge, with several kinds of seating, and there are luggage storage and a gym. It's about a ten-minute walk from Brussels Central station, with plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel also has breakfast.
