Novotel Brussels City Centre

Breakfast was a highlight, with hot and cold choices, fresh pastries, fruit, juices and proper coffee. The seating area was relaxed, and even when it was busy, things didn’t feel rushed or chaotic. I found the whole stay at Novotel Hotel Brussels smooth and comfortable. The modern, bright hotel is well maintained and felt clean and professional as soon as I arrived. It’s close enough to walk to the main areas, with shops, cafés and transport nearby, while still being quiet enough at night to relax. My city hotel room was spacious and very clean, with a comfortable bed, good pillows, a proper desk and a bathroom that looked newly updated. Soundproofing was great, and despite the hotel seeming busy I barely heard the corridor or outside. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. Check-in was quick, check-out simple, and everyone I dealt with was polite and welcoming. It makes a difference when staff seem to care about guests. The hotel is well run, reliable and comfortable. It took the stress out of the trip, and I’d definitely return to Brussels and stay here again.

We had one of our best hotel stays here during Christmas market season. From our room, the views of the church and market were stunning. The room was outstanding, with an exceptionally comfortable bed and an excellent shower and bathroom. The cold refrigerator, kettle, coffee maker and easy-to-use TV were all appreciated. Reception gave us a genuinely kind, friendly welcome. The hotel is very well located, with several clean, convenient parking garages nearby and easy access to public transport. We plan to return and would absolutely stay here again.

Everything else would have been perfect, but we booked a shared room for a conference with a colleague and were assigned a double bed instead of two separate beds. We asked right away for a solution, but were told the hotel was fully booked and had no rooms with separate beds, so no alternative could be offered. I wouldn’t expect this from a four-star hotel hosting business and conference guests. More care with the room assignment and booking details could have prevented the inconvenience.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the family friendly atmosphere and games for kids made this a lovely stay. We’d love to return to Novotel city center. Its prime location gives easy access to the metro, nearby shopping and C2 shopping mall, and it’s walkable to grand place and mannekin pis. The breakfast menu was great, including English breakfast. The pool is small and shallow but clean, and the sauna was comfortable. The bathroom and toilet are separate, but there’s no wash basin in the toilet. The central location also means some noise at night, though the area is much better than the midi area near the station.
