The location and the staff were the best parts. The metro was only a few minutes away, and there were lots of restaurants nearby. But the fifth-floor room was only okay. There was a strange smell as soon as we entered the elevator, and the carpet outside the room had smelly stains. Inside, there was mold on the walls and the floor was uneven. I'm not sure why. The bathroom needs renovating as soon as possible, and maybe the whole room does too. Please do something about the smell, stains and mold. I can't recommend this hotel.

The noise outside made it hard to sleep. People were arguing and playing loud music during the night, and there was no sign that staff stepped in to settle things. Inside the room, the bedding had visible marks and stains. It felt so unhygienic that we slept in our coats instead of getting properly into bed. The bathroom was filthy too. The shower head had limescale and grime and barely worked. The second floor was basically a construction site: plasterboards stacked on the landing and stairs, buckets of filler left out, loose tubing over staircases, and industrial machines and exposed wires blocking corridors. Materials obstructed the walkways, with no proper warning signs or barriers and no visible effort to protect guests. It would have been unsafe to evacuate in an emergency. From arrival, the place felt like a serious fire hazard and health and safety problem. This stay was unsafe, dirty and completely unacceptable. I'd urge anyone considering the hotel to think twice until serious improvements are made.

The staff were really nice, and the location was convenient for the train station and metro. We had a deluxe room on the fourth floor, but I expected better accommodation for the price. Sleep was miserable most nights. Across the street, a very loud nightclub stayed open until 5am. A nearby intersection seemed to be a town-wide horn testing spot, with two or three honks a minute until 3 or 4am. Police cars with sirens went by about every hour too. With the poor window insulation, all of that was hard to bear. Other reviews about hygiene were mostly right. There was mold on our bathroom tiles, the bed felt dirty under the sheets, the mattresses were extremely soft, and the shower head was broken and leaking.

The location is the best part, and the staff were really nice. We spent three nights, mostly out all day, so the room was whatever for us. Still, the mold in the bathroom was everywhere you looked. The shower head barely worked and looked as if it was about to fall apart. There was a moldy smell from the bathroom and a smell from the carpet, so we kept the window open. The carpet looked older than my whole family, haha. We were on the fifth floor. It wasn't that bad, although the ceiling was lower over half the room and made it feel smaller. At night the street and nearby bars were really loud. Closing the window helped, but we could still hear everything. It's a three-star hotel, so you can't expect a five-star stay. I'd say it's okay if you don't plan to spend time in the room. P.S. There's a bakery around the corner on the left with the best fresh pastries, straight from the oven. The Korean place called "Soju Bar" is highly recommended, and the breakfast spot "Swalty-Crepe" is a must-visit.

The constant car horns were my main problem. I don't know what was going on, but over three days, Thursday to Saturday, I couldn't sleep well. There's also a bar opposite the hotel that can be noisy. I'd read reviews about the noise before booking but didn't think much of it. That said, I felt safe traveling alone as a woman, and the location was great. I booked through hoteis.com without any trouble, near a subway station, and could walk to almost everything I wanted. The reception area is large, the staff were kind and helpful, and there are lots of nice restaurants nearby. I didn't try breakfast.
