The rooms were lovely and clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was well maintained. I also liked the carpets, and breakfast was good. The place felt cramped, though, and finding the entrance was tricky since you go in through the bar downstairs. Being right in the city center meant a lot of noise in the evening and at night, especially with a bar below. On the plus side, everything is close: a delicious pastry shop opposite, good restaurants, and the metro.

We ordered sheesha and drinks, but they weren't made well. We complained and got no apology. Once we'd paid, there was no service at all. It felt like a real waste of money. Wouldn't recommend it.

Avoid this place. The bar attached to the hotel was awful, and the staff were so rude that my husband and I felt really uncomfortable. We had one drink, then left as soon as we could.

The woman working at the lobby was unfriendly and unhelpful, if not outright rude. In Room 13 on the 5th floor, the paint was peeling too. I wouldn't recommend this place. I'd rather pay more to stay somewhere else.

For a solo woman traveling on business, this place didn't feel right. It's basically known as a bar, more of a hookah bar than somewhere to stay, and the entrance to the room elevator is mysterious. The location is convenient, though, about 850 m from Brussels central station and 450 m from the grand place. Rates are economical, and the service wasn't bad. The room could be noisy, with people outside, sirens, and traffic. I was cold because the heating wasn't appropriate, and the radiator was stuck at 3 and wouldn't go higher. Screws were coming out of the coat stands, and the saucer and table were dusty. The kettle had limescale debris. Breakfast was included, but the restaurant had a terrible smell I can't explain. I quickly finished my scrambled egg and coffee, then checked out.
