The construction made this stay miserable. The reception was closed for our whole visit, and no one told us about the work before we travelled. We had nowhere to sit and relax except our room, which was a disaster with all the snow and rain. We would have changed hotels if we’d known we’d be stuck in the same room all weekend. There was a small office with one chair for all the guests. To smoke, I had to stand outside, ring a bell, and wait for staff to let me back in through a fire exit. The lift to that exit floor was broken for a few hours on Saturday morning, so we had to use the run-down, dusty, dirty metal stairs. When the lift worked, we could hear it squeaking from our room every time it was used. The shower tray overflowed if I showered for more than five minutes. I had to turn off the water three times while trying to wash my hair and shave my legs, just to let it drain. They also didn’t replace the coffee in the room. On the first day I asked for extra milk because there wasn’t enough, and a staff member said he didn’t know how to get me any. The entrance was very hard to find. This is by far the worst hotel I’ve ever set foot in. I wouldn’t recommend it at all for the price. I’ve stayed in hostels with better facilities and service. Just don’t stay here.

We stayed for three nights in December 2025 and reported two serious issues on the second day. Neither was resolved. A bag that we’d left properly closed on the table was gone when we returned on the second morning. It contained chocolates and other typical things we’d bought the day before, and we reported it immediately. The toilet flush also made a horrible noise during the night. It was fixed on the first day, but the noise came back that night. The staff were polite, but they didn’t sort out either issue.

Mohammed at reception was very helpful from the start. Check-in and check-out both went smoothly, and our ground-floor room was spacious enough for the three of us. We had a good two-night stay.

I enjoyed my day in Brussels here. The service was good, and the room was spacious, clean, and well looked after. Fast Wi-Fi was very helpful too.
