The house is in a nice, quiet spot and the location is good. But it wasn't clean when we arrived, and it needs more thorough upkeep. There was dust under the bed, walls covered in mosquito marks, and curtains that needed washing and repair. The furniture is dated, the bedroom wardrobe was broken, and some pillows and blankets need washing or replacing. Electricity and bed linen cost extra, and it was disappointing to arrive to a poorly cleaned house and have to put all the bedding on ourselves.

We booked through Ardennes Online and didn't get our deposit back because they said the oven and Senseo coffee machine were dirty and the dishwasher hadn't been unpacked. We hadn't even used the oven or Senseo, and the dishwasher was completely unpacked. It felt like a total scam. If you're looking for a fair price that includes cleaning, I'd avoid booking here.
