Novotel Gent Centrum

Serda at reception was so kind and professional, and made me feel at home from the start. I had a lovely four-night stay at Novotel Gent Centrum, with everything comfortable and well organized. The whole reception team gave me such a warm welcome. Thanks for making it memorable, I’m already looking forward to coming back!

We often make this journey and always choose this hotel as a stop along the way. It’s right in the center of Gent, which works perfectly for us. The room was great, especially the comfortable bed, we slept like babies. Breakfast was included, tasty, and had a good range of choices. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, as were all the staff. There’s also a cozy bar and wellness facilities, though I didn’t use the latter this time.

The bar next door stays open until 3AM on weekends, and the noise made it hard to sleep before then. The window soundproofing could be better. Still, we had an amazing stay, and the staff were some of the kindest and most welcoming we’ve met. From reception and breakfast to housekeeping, everyone we met from Friday through Sunday was lovely. We’ll remember that warmth and would happily return when we’re back in the city.

We liked our room overlooking the inner courtyard, and it was spacious with everything we needed. The reception team were welcoming, professional, and especially helpful. The location is so convenient, with both entrances only about a two-minute walk from the main shops and restaurants. We often stay overnight in Ghent but hadn’t been back to Novotel in years. That was a mistake, we had a terrific time and decided then and there to return the following week.
