We came for a trail race, and we’ll definitely book Hotel Beau Rivage again for next year’s edition. It’s a great base for a couple of nights exploring the area, with an amazing breakfast and a fantastic location. The small hotel has a lot of charm, and Jacques, the owner, was a true gentleman. I can’t recommend it enough.

The breakfast that came with the stay was delicious and nicely prepared. It’s a lovely, quaint hotel in a great spot, and they were very accommodating. Especially handy if you’re travelling by bike. I’d recommend staying here when you’re in the region.

The restaurant was amazing, with really fresh local food. A very nice hotel, too.

The breakfast was a real highlight: fresh rolls, Ardennes ham, raspberries, and even a fried egg. Just delicious, and we enjoyed it a lot. The owner gave us a warm welcome and explained everything, including the Wi-Fi code. There’s no TV, but a laptop or tablet will do if you want a screen. The hotel is small and cosy beside the Ourthe River, in a beautiful spot. The decor feels a little dated, though everything you need is there. We’d happily return.

Jacques is a very friendly host who makes you feel at home. He enjoys art, music, wine, and a good chat, and his breakfast is truly exceptional. This is the kind of authentic Ardennes hotel I like: small, quiet, and family-friendly. Don’t come expecting a flatscreen TV, a noisy bar, or a hot tub.
