There's a bus stop right outside, and if you ask, they'll lend you a bike. That's handy since there isn't much in Heverlee, though Leuven centre is about a 10 minute cycle away. My room had everything I needed, including a coffee machine that made a nice cup, and it was clean and pleasant. My only gripe was that I couldn't shut the window properly. Still giving it 5 stars.

The room TV wasn't working, but they replaced it immediately, and I'd recommend the hotel. The COVID-19 protocol was good: you picked up your key without contact, and the front door opened and closed automatically. The wooden blinds didn't block the light well and should be replaced with roll-down shades. I also didn't see the note that the kitchen costs an extra €5 for stays under 4 days.

There are lots of green spaces nearby for sports, and the location is perfect. It's a nice 30 minute walk downtown, about 1.5 KM. Reception was friendly. Room cleaning was a bit late, but everything else was fine. Recommended.

The air conditioning never got fixed, even though it was needed during a week when temperatures reached 34°C. The shower didn't work at first either, but that was repaired the next day. Our relatives had asked for a twin room and made clear they wanted separate beds, but they were given a double and the beds were never split. They were visiting my wife and me for a week after the birth of our first daughter. We suggested Boardhousing Aparthotel because it's conveniently located and our family had stayed there before. We regretted recommending it. There were other minor inconveniences too, and the service simply wasn't what you'd expect.
