My favorite place to stay in Liege.

Our trip unexpectedly couldn't go ahead. After we provided verifiable notice of the cancellation, the full rental fee was refunded. We'd like to thank you again for that.

We only had one night in Liège, but it was enough to discover Ann's guesthouse. The apartment was bright and spacious, and we were welcomed so warmly. Street parking was easy too. We'd happily come back.

The owners live in the same building and were very friendly over email, though we never met in person since we were out most of the time. The bus stop is right outside, there is free public transport nearby, and parking at the house under the linden trees is free. It's outside the city, about 10-15 minutes by car. We also went to Maastricht and the antique market in Tongeren, around 30 minutes away. Côté Cour looks out onto the garden. It's a converted former garage, done in a modern and attractive way. The kitchen and living room, which has a sofa bed, have a rather low ceiling. The bathroom and bedroom face northeast over the garden and get morning sun. In summer, you can use the paved terrace with chairs at the back of the garden, but you have to carry things downstairs along the side of the house to reach the basement apartment. There's no place to have breakfast outside right by the apartment. The kitchen is very well equipped, including a microwave and dishwasher. The spacious bathroom has lots of drawers and hooks, and the toilet is separate. The toilet ceiling is very low. In the bedroom there's a hanging chair above the apartment's terrace for anyone feeling adventurous. The 150 cm double bed was comfortable, though it came with one blanket. We expected that and brought one from home. There's just one wardrobe compartment for everyone. I'd recommend it for three adults, or two adults and two children.
