L'écrin des Vennes

We left early because my girlfriend felt unsafe, and the whole stay had become a nightmare. People were coming and going through the building at all hours, including the middle of the night, and the room was so noisy that getting a normal night's sleep was nearly impossible. The room itself was in terrible shape: hair in several places, visible mold on the ceiling, and a torn, poorly maintained bed. It was also extremely disappointing that it wasn't cleaned the next day and we weren't given fresh towels. When we raised this, the person in charge first said he'd bring towels right away. More than an hour later, after we followed up, he told us, “this is not a 5-star hotel, be quiet.” That showed no respect or professionalism. Nobody expects a five-star hotel, but basic hygiene, safety, and courtesy should be expected. This was the most shocking and disappointing hotel experience I've ever had, if you can even call it a hotel. With the condition of the room, the late-night traffic, and management's attitude, I can't recommend this accommodation, a love hotel, at all.

I've been coming to Liège for work for three years, and this is easily the best hotel in Liège. The owner is friendly, kind, and helpful, and the rooms are spotless. Nothing to complain about.

We booked a romantic getaway and had a perfect time. The place is spotless and nicely decorated, so we felt comfortable right away. The staff were attentive throughout, and the young owner, who recently took over the establishment, was very friendly and professional. We appreciated the thoughtful touches and the useful tips for getting the most from the facilities. It's a lovely place to spend a few hours together and get away from everyday life. We left relaxed and already thinking about coming back soon.
