I stayed 10 nights on my own in a double room, and the €1,100 total worked out to €110 a night, which felt like good value. Check-in was easy, and the email receipt came through without a problem. Most of the basics were there: fast Wi-Fi, a fridge stocked with complimentary still and sparkling water, a kettle, toiletries, towels, a shower, a high-quality mattress, extra pillows, an electronic lock and a TV. The room had wood or laminate flooring. All the lights worked, though it still felt quite dark. The room layout was odd, with the WC separate from the bathroom. There was no bathtub, room service or hotel restaurant, though breakfast was available. The lift was quite often out of order. My street-facing room was noisy, about an 8 out of 10, from the loud traffic. It's a good-looking place in general, and I think it will improve once all the renovations are finished. Here, a minus sign just means something isn't available, not that it's bad.

The road noise went on all night, and the shower had no water pressure. The rooms are small, too. Breakfast on weekends doesn't start until 8 a.m. It was a pretty bad stay.

There’s a parking lot very close to the hotel, and I liked the breakfast and the staff serving it. The breakfast hours themselves are quite short. The rooms were okay, though the shower was a bit disappointing. Reception isn't open 24/7. That made little difference to me, and I could understand it since it was a holiday. It's a nice hotel.

The hotel met all my expectations, and the welcome and service were wonderful. In such a small town, Hotel Cortina feels like a jewel. The entrance made a great first impression, and I especially liked the spacious rooms, the little fountain and the modern feel of the hall. It gave me the sense of being away from the day's hectic pace.

The buffet was great, and the food was amazing. The people were friendly, and the car service was good too. We had a lovely time. Just keep an eye on your glasses, they get topped up before you notice they're empty.
