It’s a relaxing complex on a quiet hill in Bansko, with nature close by and hiking trails starting right outside. There are two little convenience stores for the basics. Without a car, be prepared for the uphill walk from town. A peaceful spot with easy access to the outdoors.

The apartment was very clean when we arrived, but during our five-night stay it was never cleaned, and the towels weren’t changed either. There’s no reception, and I’m not even sure the place has a pool. It also takes about 20 minutes to walk uphill from town and around 30 minutes to the ski gondola. I honestly don’t get the reviews. The Google photos don’t match where you stay. It feels more like Airbnb apartments than a four-star hotel.

A lovely place if you want a calm, quiet part of Bansko, with the forest just outside. Just keep in mind that all the amenities are currently closed, including the pool, gym, spa, reception and restaurant. The fireplaces in most rooms don’t work, so they shouldn’t be used.

A lovely area for climbers and hikers, and great for skiing and snowboarding too. The views are beautiful, the pubs are cheap, and the local people are hospitable.

We own an apartment here and are very happy with it. The complex is at the edge of town, generally quiet, and the hiking trails start right outside the door.
