Formula 1 Motel

We’d booked by phone because we wanted to spare the hotel the booking commission, but when we arrived the front desk quoted a different rate. We’d found it for 28, but they charged us 37. The staff didn’t speak English, and there was cigarette smoke. What upset me most wasn’t the money, but the feeling that they were taking advantage of tired people. They also insisted those prices didn’t exist and never had, although I found the same rates for different dates. Be careful, and book online if you just want to get some rest.

A fair price and a decent option for a night’s sleep. The Wi-Fi is good and there’s parking. I’d skip breakfast: it was poor, though fresh, and there were no other issues with it.

The prices are really reasonable, and there’s a restaurant too. A handy place to stop for the night when you’re travelling and need a rest. Parking isn’t enclosed, but it felt secure enough with the car right in front of reception.

Just what you want from a motel: comfortable rooms and kind staff. The only difficulty is that most of the staff don’t speak English.
