Eurostars Sofia City

The location is convenient and the water pressure was good, but my stay didn’t feel like a four-star hotel. I was on the fourth floor and found a lot of hair on the blankets. The WiFi kept dropping, so I had to use my own data, and the AC didn’t work. When I mentioned it at the front desk, the receptionist giggled and said there were no rooms left. For the price and quality, I’d stay somewhere else. This felt like three stars at most.

The central location worked well for our business trip, but comfort was a problem throughout our two nights. We both woke with back pain because the mattress and pillows were uncomfortable, and the breakfast was poor in both quality and choice. The room was far too hot, with no way to adjust or switch off the heating, so sleeping was difficult both nights. After the first night we asked reception for help. They said they couldn’t change it, and mentioned trying to move us to another wing, but the hotel was full. That was hard to believe when only three people were at breakfast. We were in wing B, which felt more like two stars than four.

We were sorry to leave after such a lovely stay at Eurostars. Breakfast was among the best I’ve had in a hotel, with lots of options, and the room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The bed was great too. Teodor gave us a warm welcome, checked us in, and explained what the hotel offers. We drove and used the parking lot beside the hotel. Space is limited, but it’s convenient and costs 25lev per day. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the center of Sofia, so we didn’t need to take the car around. I’d recommend Eurostars to friends and hope to come back.

The staff and customer service were fantastic, with everyone ready to help. Thanks to Cristina, Ilia, and the rest of the reception, restaurant, and cleaning teams. The place is about 100m from the tram stop and 800m from the metro. Highly recommended, and I’ll be back!
