The owner was always around to help, and did so with a smile whenever we needed anything. It’s also good value for money, with private parking for guests arriving by car. The little hotel is conveniently located near public transport, and the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable.

The room felt almost new and was clean, with complimentary coffee, tea and other things. There was also a large fridge and useful appliances. It’s about a 20-minute walk from the city center, and the price was very good for that. The owner was so friendly and welcoming, helped us with everything, and even tried to call a taxi since we don’t speak Bulgarian. We had a really pleasant stay. I’d definitely recommend it and come back, 10/10.

After two weeks around different parts of Bulgaria, including seaside resorts, this was easily our most comfortable stay. We spent two pleasant nights at Sofia Family House. The updated rooms were spacious and very clean, with comfortable beds, Wi-Fi and A/C. The owners were lovely and accommodating. I’d highly recommend it for either a short or long stay, and would definitely return.
