Light Hotel

It's definitely a smaller hotel in terms of how many rooms it has. We were on the top floor, in the last room, 57. The room was absolutely fine, though the bed was a little low. Heating was our only problem. It was very warm, and the fan didn't seem to work, so we'd have had to leave the door ajar to let cool air in.

The apartment was spacious for the four of us sharing, and the price was very reasonable. The location worked well for getting to the centre of Sofia. Breakfast was a lovely self-serve buffet with hot and cold options. Everything was clean and tidy, and we couldn't have asked for more.

The hotel is well placed for the center of Sofia, about 10 minutes on foot from the main Vitosha pedestrian street and near most of the sights. Reception staff were very polite and helpful, and the room was warm and clean. Breakfast had a basic selection, but it was quite good and more than enough. The coffee tasted perfect. A few drawbacks: the carpets were old and stained, the bed was a bit small for two, and the TV was too small. The advertised SPA is just a small sauna. There was only one set of towels when we arrived, but reception brought another after we let them know. Parking costs 10€ per night.

The location is perfect, right in the center of Sofia. The staff are very helpful, the rooms are very clean, and room service comes every day. The spa and sauna are nice, and all the self-service meals are delicious. We stayed here with our 5-month-old baby and everything was perfect. Hotel light is very comfortable, and I totally recommend it.
