Nadejda Hotel

Decent sized, clean rooms, and the hotel is good. It’s on the outer part of the city, but there’s a Lidl conveniently right next to it.

The food was OK, at least the hot breakfast, but the restaurant menu is a bit pricey for an out-of-town hotel. It was chilly with no heating on. Staff today were better than the people who checked us in yesterday. I was disappointed that smoking was allowed inside the restaurant last night. As a non-smoker, the smell can be overpowering while eating. The sooner inspectors come in the evenings, the better.

This is my third night here, and the room temperature is low. I asked them to make it warmer, but was told the air conditioning only cools and doesn’t heat. The glasses and cups smell like eggs, and when we complained they brought plastic ones. For what we paid, the service is lacking. We paid 80 leva per night for a single room. There’s also no airport transfer.

This hotel should have no stars. It’s very old and in bad condition, and there’s no internet at all, just a very bad signal throughout the hotel. Don’t pay for breakfast, it isn’t worth it. It’s just cheese with a cup of coffee and tea, which you can buy for 3 lv.
