Three Dolphins Family Hotel

The bathroom smell really spoiled our stay. It wasn't very noticeable at check-in, probably because the room and bathroom had been aired and refreshed, but with the bathroom door closed, the odor got worse and eventually we couldn't use the bathroom. Staff said they knew about the problem and were replacing the floor siphons to fix it. I'd recommend checking that the room you get has had this work done, or waiting until it has. We'd gladly return once it's resolved. The rooms are pleasant, the service is great, and the staff are professional and friendly. The small cafeteria downstairs is charming, and its sandwiches are really good for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It all felt like a boutique hotel, and was priced that way. Parking nearby is impossible if you have a car, so you'll have to drive around town to find a spot. Without the bathroom problem, we'd happily give it five stars and recommend it.

The owner greeted us and was professional and courteous. The diner has a fantastic style, and the rooms are really nice. Our stay made Varna much more appealing and became a highlight of our trip around Europe. No complaints at all.

The staff at Three Dolphins made us feel so welcome, and we’re already looking forward to staying again. They were friendly and helpful throughout. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, and the hotel’s location worked perfectly for exploring Varna, right across the road from the train station. We couldn’t fault our stay and would definitely recommend it.

My wife and I stayed here in November 2021, and it was a great value right in downtown Varna. We could walk to the market, pastry shops, pubs, and restaurants, and the room was clean and comfortable. The host was amazing, very helpful, and spoke perfect English. I’d highly recommend it.
