The owner was friendly and even came down to find me, since the hotel was a little hard to locate. It’s in the centre of VT old town, though there are lots of stairs. The room was cosy and had a classic Bulgarian style. For the price, I can’t complain. Cash only.

Shops, bars, and restaurants were all nearby, and there was plenty of transportation right on the doorstep. The guesthouse room was clean and tidy, with a nice bed, and more than adequate. The staff were amazing and accommodating. I really enjoyed my stay, it was perfect and great value for money. Highly recommend 👌 👍 😍♥️😍

The room we stayed in was full of bed bugs, and my girlfriend woke up the next day covered in bites. The old guy kept checking on us at 1:00 AM and 2:30AM, for God knows why. The room wasn’t worth the 16 Euro's they asked. We stayed because we thought we were helping an old Bulgarian guy, but he turned out to be tricky and we felt fooled. If you like bed bugs and their bites, or want to bring an unwanted guest home, then this is your place. For an extra 5-10 Leva, you can get a proper clean room, and maybe even breakfast.

This place has its own soul and is cheap, with an amazing view and a spot very close to the strict city center. It’s a nice option for tourists who just need somewhere to sleep rather than a perfect apartment. I recommend it.
