The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was okay for the low price. Breakfast was a chicken rice meal, or you could pick something from the menu as long as it came to around 3rm. You might pay extra if it costs more. The location worked well for getting around. The bus station for Seria and the jetties are very close, and the temple and museum are within walking distance. For the night markets and the bigger temple, you may need a Dart, Brunei's Uber or Grab counterpart. I love Brunei. People were kind and seemed genuine, the food was cheap, and the country felt very peaceful.

There was plenty of parking, and I didn't need to reserve a spot. They also offered a complimentary airport shuttle. The spacious room had a bathtub, fridge, and strong WiFi, and everything felt very comfortable. The people were nice, and you can order breakfast à la carte downstairs. A wonderful experience, thanks very much.

The staff provided good service, and the room was clean and comfortable for a reasonable price. They let us check out late, at 1300, which was great. Parking was free and the hotel was near the city centre. The downside was noise coming through the poor soundproofing, which clearly disturbed my sleep.

The location and the friendly staff were the best parts, and they also provided airport pickup and drop-off. The rooms seemed not to have been updated in years, though. The old carpet was dirty, the bathroom leaked, and there were questionable stains. It didn't feel clean or hygienic at all. Maybe okay for a short break.

My experience with Jubilee Hotel was about its service, rather than the room or location. I dealt with them twice. Two months earlier, I emailed to ask about airport pickup and got clear information within hours. Then on September 2, 2025, at about 9 pm, I couldn't board my flight to Bandar Seri Begawan because of a Brunei immigration issue involving my flight companion. My two-night booking had a 2 pm check-in, already past by the time of the flight or my expected arrival, so I thought I'd lose the booking. I asked through Trip.com if Jubilee Hotel could cancel it. Just as before, they replied clearly and quickly, within an hour, and accepted the cancellation with a FULL refund. In a world where most people or establishments are bad and greedy, the management at Jubilee Hotel is an exception and a shining example of decent human beings. I'll always be indebted to them. Salute!
