There aren't many options in Brunei for a solo traveller, and this is a nice place. It’s near the Gadong mall and night market, and the price is pretty good. Seems well suited to a couple of nights.

The manager was friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. My second room smelled strongly of durian from the previous guests, so the manager moved me promptly to a better room without the smell. Great service. I extended my stay twice. Both rooms I stayed in were modern, comfortable, clean, and quiet, and the rate was good, $30-34 per night. The entrance can be tricky to find: it’s up two flights of stairs, with no signs at the bottom. I’d recommend this accommodation for a solo traveller or a couple visiting Brunei.

A comfortable, affordable guest house for tourists exploring Brunei. The location is easy to reach from malls and bus stops, and the staff are friendly. Free water and use of the washing machine are included. Highly recommended!

It’s close to attractions, but the conditions were poor. We had no water for 2 days and lost electricity for a few hours on both my stay.
