Great food, monkeys passing by, no mosquitoes, and hardly any cars beyond a certain point. There’s charm, harmony, community, and a real sense of fellowship. Don’t go! Success would only help bring about its demise.

We had wonderful days of rest at this pleasant inn in the woods, where it’s quiet enough to sleep well. We stayed in the spacious chalé ar, with a comfortable bed and good linens and towels. The electric shower heated the water well. Breakfast was simple but tasty, and the broths served at night were delicious. The roads in Aiuruoca were very muddy because of the rain, especially the road through Vale do Matutu on the way to the inn. We were in a pickup and slid a little. We didn’t use the sauna because the hours felt late, starting only at 6 pm.

The team welcomed me warmly and gave me great guidance on the many outings in the area. The chalet was very comfortable, with an incredible view of Vale do Matutu. Breakfast was delicious, and the soups and quiches made a great dinner. A wonderful stay. I’ll definitely be back.

The inn has trails, places to relax, a natural-water pool, a sauna, streams, and plenty of peace and quiet. The Chalé AR is cozy and comfortable, with a fireplace and kitchenette. Since it sits on a higher part of the grounds, it has a lovely panorama of Vale do Matutu. Breakfast is exceptional, with tasty homemade pão de queijo, cakes, and cookies. It’s in a wonderful natural setting in the Matutu valley, in Aiuruoca MG.
