Vila Alaide Praia Hotel

So-so.

We arrived late in the afternoon on 20/11/2025 and were supposed to stay until 23/11/2025. I paid r$ 752,00 for the 03 nights before taking the elevator up to the "Luxury Room." If I'd checked the room first, I wouldn't even have gone upstairs. The wallpaper was peeling in the stairwell, and the elevator smelled strongly of mold. On our floor the corridor lights wouldn't turn on, so we had to find the room in the dark. Inside, there was another bad mold smell. The bedding was old, the towels were worn and smelled bad, and the bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly. There was hair behind the door and a foul odor. We stayed less than 30 minutes and didn't even unpack. We couldn't stay in a room that smelled like that. We didn't turn on the TV or air conditioning to see if either worked. The parking was partly covered, but the uncovered section meant my car would have been left in the sun. I spoke privately and politely with the attendant before we left. He said he'd talk to the owner and get back to me, but he never did. I was told on waths that the r$ 752,00 wouldn't be refunded and would instead be kept as credit to use within 06 months. Obviously, we're never going back to the hotel to use it. I asked on waths if they could at least refund half, but they said no and repeated that the amount would remain as credit. Given the conditions we were offered, I don't recommend this hotel. I'm disappointed.

The place was very clean and well organized, in a great location close to the beach with several restaurants nearby. The service was very good, and everyone was polite and attentive. The shower had great pressure, too. I came with my family and my pet. Highly recommend! 😃

A very cozy hotel, with really attentive service. Breakfast was very good too.
