Hotel Ana's

Ana, the owner, and Fabiana were very helpful and attentive during our 11-day stay for the Festa do Peão de Barretos. The price was good for what we got: air-conditioned rooms, a minibar, and a spacious bathroom with a shower enclosure. Breakfast was basic, with coffee, fruit, bread, cheese, ham, and cake. The place is close to Hospital do Amor, and there are shops nearby within walking distance. Our room felt a little small next to the bathroom, but it was fine.

We stayed for 12 days in July and August 2024 and found the hotel very clean and organized. Ana and Fabiana were attentive and helpful. The location is especially convenient for Hospital de Amor, with the entrance just a two-minute walk away. If we need another stay, we’ll definitely book here again.

The service was slow, rooms weren’t tidied, and toilet paper was only replenished after we asked. Breakfast was very basic, and when something ran out, it took a while to bring more. Three rooms had no minibar, and the mattresses were old; there were also no towels or blankets. The three newly built rooms had bathrooms without doors or shower enclosures, while the other rooms had maintenance issues. We booked seven rooms for three days for the Festa do Peão at R$2400,00 each, and arriving was a horrible disappointment. I’ve known this hotel since 2016, when we started coming for the festival. It used to be simple but satisfactory, but that changed. At R$800,00 a day, we deserved more.

Disappointing. It has the name of a hotel, but maybe it’s more of a guesthouse. Some walls need their plaster repaired. The garage is in a neighboring house and you can’t access it freely, so day to day your vehicle is left at risk of damage because you have to park on the public street. Breakfast is charged for, but it’s very basic and poor. The room was clean when we arrived, but if you stay more than one day, there’s no daily cleaning or towel change. Unfortunately, the way this place is advertised lacks commitment and honesty. It really lets you down.
