I really liked the place. It’s simple, clean, and very cozy and pleasant. I did wish there were more outlets, especially one by the bed. If I come back to BH, I’d stay here again. I recommend it.

The staff make a real effort to make the place feel like home. It’s also in a privileged spot, close to everything: Praça da liberdade, basilica de Lourdes, mercado central, and all the shopping in BH. After staying here, I don’t plan to stay anywhere else.

Watson is a really kind host and always ready to help. The location is excellent, and the quiet, simple place is clean and looks much like the photos. It’s great value for the money. I recommend it =)

Horrible. They put me in a first-floor room next to reception, and it was a dreadful sight when I walked in. The bedding hadn't been changed, the sheets were torn, and I have it all on video. There were two filthy pillows with disgusting pillowcases, and the blankets were burned from cigarettes and smelled of smoke. There was no fan, only an iron window, so there was no ventilation at all. The bathroom was shared, and the only place to shower was on the third floor. I had to rush out with my son to buy a fan, sheets, pillows, and towels because none of those were provided. I spent more than R$800,00 just to feel less dirty. The mattress was no more than two centimeters thick, so the floor might have been better, except the floor was filthy too. My son used the toilet, but there was no water to flush it. An older woman lay in the area that was supposed to be for watching TV and smoked constantly. There was even a little pot on the stairs full of her cigarette butts. The only decent things were the Wi-Fi and the housekeeper, who looked at me with pity when she showed me the pillow.
