Hotel Avenida

It costs a lot for what you get, especially with such a limited breakfast: very few choices, Tang juice, and fruit and bread left out until they were dry. There were lots of dairy items with no refrigeration. The room itself was very basic, which would have been fine, but the sheets were stained, the shower barely had any water, and the shower enclosure glass was dirty. The walls were all marked up, and there were mosquitoes in the room.

I’m asking for the extra charge for my stay at Hotel Avenida Pardinho to be reviewed and canceled. I checked in at 16:38 on 15/09/2025 and checked out at the same time on 17/09/2025, a total of 48 hours, which amounts to two full nights. Under Portaria MTur nº 28/2025, a hotel night is 24 hours and the checkout time should match the check-in time, so I believe the additional charge has no legal basis. The checkout interaction was unsatisfactory as well. The person handling the charge was rude and behaved inappropriately, trying to apply amounts I considered improper even after I explained the situation. That was not the kind of welcome I expect from a hotel. Please correct the record right away and permanently cancel the disputed charge. I await a formal response. I visited Pardinho and stayed at Hotel Avenida for two nights. My experience was awful. When I arrived at around 13:00, I was told the room had a double bed, a single bed, and a minibar, but there was no minibar. The bathroom door panels were broken, the bin had no lid, the shower was burned out and only gave cold water, and the hangers were broken. After I complained, they offered us another room, but it was just as bad: there was a lot of dust on both the upper and lower beds, and the bathroom still had a broken panel and a lidless bin. My allergy flared up badly and I had to take medicine. My son and I have dietary restrictions involving lactose and gluten. We asked for more breakfast options and got no answer. On the last day, the manager found us in the street, shouting that we had to pay for another night. I told him he hadn’t informed us of that. As I understand the rule, the hotel night ends at the time you check in. We’d arrived around 13:00 and planned to leave by 15:45, but we were treated like people who owed them money. We left around 14:50, and nobody was at reception when we rang the bell twice. I don’t understand the arrogance. Later, one of the employees called me, shouting insults, and then sent several voice messages on WhatsApp. He stopped only after I warned him I would use the recordings against him. He called me a liar. I told him that if he didn’t stop, I’d send the health inspection service to check everything, and then he stopped. I don’t recommend this hotel.

I’ve already stayed here three times and recommend the hotel. The staff are attentive, the service is great, and the modern room had a smart TV, minibar, and air conditioning. Breakfast was very good too.
