The garden was the one thing I liked, but the rest felt like a two-star hotel. The room facilities were very old, breakfast was poor, and the nearby beach was tiny. Our room wasn't cleaned each day, and asking reception to arrange it didn't help.

We had a lovely time visiting Buzios in the off season. It's a beautiful seaside town with gorgeous beaches and plenty of different restaurants. If you're traveling around Brazil, I'd recommend it for a laid-back weekend, especially outside the busy season.

It was good, though the staff needed to pay more attention to getting the rooms cleaned.
