Tatiana and Denny, the owners, and the volunteers were super welcoming and helpful. This is a homely, eco-friendly hostel with simple but amazing construction. I met some brilliant people and the vibes were good. Breakfast was great, with all you need. It’s an easy walk to town and the kite spots, and it’s the most affordable place to stay in BG, great value for money! ❤️Mezz all the way from 🇦🇺🦘🤪

It was a relief on our budget to have breakfast here, and the volunteers are really nice. I was surprised by how hard it is to find a hostel in Barra Grande. Prices are crazy compared with other cities I’ve been to. The rooms get incredibly hot, and the beds were itchy. It could’ve been the heat or dirty mattress/linen.

The food at Eco Raizes was delicious, and the beach and restaurants are close by. I stayed in the VIDA ROOM, which had plenty of space, a great bed, and a really good shower. Everything was perfect, just good vibes 😎

The owners are so friendly, they make you feel at home almost right away. It’s a great spot in a beautiful village, and I’d recommend it without hesitation.
