Pousada Das Flores

The staff were very polite and helpful, and the welcome felt warm. Excellent service.

We had a checkout issue at reception with Patrícia, but it happened because we accidentally made the wrong reservation. I’d still come back. The place is cozy and has a family feel, and everything was clean. Breakfast was simple but more than enough.

Breakfast was delicious, and we ate well. It was simple, with the foods we like, and left us satisfied. The room had a spacious bathroom, clean bedding, and a comfortable bed, so we slept well. The TV said there was no signal, but since we were really just there to sleep, it didn’t affect us. We found the location convenient, near a market with easy access to the main avenue. It’s about 12-15 minutes by car from the center, depending on traffic and the time, so it may not suit people without a car who want to stay closer in. Parking was the main drawback: spaces rotate, and the area is tight to maneuver. When it’s full, getting out takes extra skill, and depending on the situation may not be possible. Service was okay, and the inn didn’t disappoint. I’d stay there again and recommend it.

The breakfast was reasonable, but the stay left a lot to be desired, and I wouldn’t return to this inn. The room was very dim, and there weren’t enough towels or pillows for the number of guests. We saw the notice asking guests not to stain the towels with makeup, so we carefully removed our makeup. Even so, I accidentally left a very slight surface mark when drying my ear, and they charged me for the washing.
