Pousada Água Viva

The location is central, so it’s easy to get anywhere on the island. Everything was very clean, and we were welcomed so well. Daniel was super friendly and helpful, gave us a hand with the buggy rental, and left us coffee pods every day.

I loved the guesthouse. It’s really well located and comfortable, and I’d recommend it :)! Best place on the island, with no power or water outages!

The pousada is well maintained and in a great spot, and d. Nancy was always attentive and available. The trouble came when we arrived. I’d given Breno our exact arrival time, and he had confirmed the transfer the week before, but nobody was there to meet us. There was no phone signal and no airport Wi-Fi, so it took me 40 minutes to reach him. He told us to take any taxi and said he’d deduct it from the stay, adding that he hadn’t managed to arrange the transfer. It seemed he’d simply forgotten us, and it made for a stressful arrival.

The location made everything easy: Vila dos Remédios is right by markets and restaurants, three beaches are about a five-minute walk away, and the bus stop outside goes all over the island. The pousada itself is simple but spotless and well organized. Our room had a great bed, hot shower, and perfect air conditioning. They’d even turned on the AC before we arrived, which was such a nice welcome. There were plenty of coffee capsules, fresh smelling towels, and room cleaning and towel changes were taken care of. Best of all was Dona Nancy, the owner. She was so kind and attentive and really made us feel comfortable. If we come back to Noronha, we’ll stay there again. Thanks, Dona Nancy and Breno.
