We slept really well. The bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning was quiet and worked well, and both the hotel and the surrounding area were peaceful. Our room was large, very clean, and came with lots of useful things: a hairdryer, steamer, robes, body lotion, umbrella, drying rack, cooler bag, and mosquito repellent. The rooftop pool was fantastic. It isn't heated, but the water was still around 30 degrees. The small breakfast buffet was tasty, and there were more choices on the menu. They can accommodate dietary needs if you let them know ahead of time. They even made some really good dairy free cakes. The hotel menu is small too, but the food is well made and delicious. Vegetables are hard to find anywhere on the island, and vegetarian options are mostly full of cheese, so vegans can expect to get by on chips. It's a very small boutique hotel, with friendly and helpful staff both before and during our visit. Ruth and Max deserve a special mention. They were quick to respond on WhatsApp, helped us book several excursions in advance, and gave excellent recommendations. They speak English very well.

We spent New Year's Eve 2026 at Pousada do Mirante and really enjoyed the stay. Everything was great from my first contact with Rodrigo in reservations through the end of the trip. The room was lovely, breakfast was excellent and always plentiful, and the restaurant served very good pasta and pizza. The place was clean, organized, and welcoming. The whole team was ready to help with tour bookings and buggy rental. Thanks to Renata, Max, Ruth, Cacau, and all the staff, who were so sweet to us.

The staff were polite, kind, and always ready to help, which made this a memorable stay for the whole family. We spent some precious days at a welcoming, high standard inn with a great location, a very good restaurant, spacious, comfortable rooms, and a pool that was always pleasant.
