The setting is lovely, with great views of the sea and mountains, but our four days here, from 16/11/23 to 20/11/23, were a very poor deal for the price. We were there with my wife and our three-month-old daughter. We tried to discuss compensation for all the problems, but the owners showed no willingness to work with us, which only reinforced our view of the poor customer service. At night, noise disturbed us on three of our four nights, usually from around 10:30 pm until 1 or 2 am. It came either from loud music nearby or bars whose music carried from the beach. We'd been looking for calm and quiet in Noronha, and the hotel never mentioned this issue, even though we told them we'd have a three-month-old baby. The poor insulation and finishing also let in plenty of insects: ants, large flies and mosquitoes, lizards, and others. We spent time trying to get them out, but more kept coming. With a baby in the room, this was especially hard. The room had no internet despite the high price. The person responsible kept saying each day that it would be fixed "tomorrow," and it may still be unresolved. Service was weak too, with few people around and little support. Even though we paid over 325€/night, breakfast was basic and its freshness was questionable. The rooms and facilities are dated and need renovation. Some planks and the shared terrace have holes that could cause someone to fall or get hurt, and the local manager just said it would be fixed later. The online photos don't show how poorly maintained the place is, and make it look much better than it is. The last proper renovation was probably 10 or 15 years ago. We could understand some of this if it were priced at 25-30% of the cost and advertised as a hostel. But the pricing and possibly misleading advertising are a calamity. People paying a premium for a "dream service" should know what they may face. DON'T GO. There should be a regulation against commercial offers that don't reflect the reality of the place.

NEVER EVER! The staff did their best, but our room wasn't cleaned regularly, the apartment's front door wouldn't close for two days before it was repaired, and three of the five light bulbs didn't work properly. Sometimes the sink drain smelled, the windows looked like they hadn't been cleaned in ages, the Wi-Fi was very poor, and breakfast was so-so. And what's a nice ocean view from a big balcony worth when there are no chairs or hammocks to enjoy it? I don't get how this place has such a good rating.

The pool was very dirty, and breakfast was awful, with low-grade food, stale bread and cake with flies. During my two days at the pousada, everything was terrible. It's run-down, with no maintenance and nobody to help or assist you. The staff seemed inexperienced and rude, and there hadn't been a manager for several months. The owner lives in Portugal and only seems concerned with collecting money from people who fall for this trap. The mattresses were old and moldy, the sheets dirty and only changed every three days. You get just one beach towel per person regardless of how long you stay, and have to pay for more. The shower was awful, and water dripped from the sink's siphon. There were thousands of huge ants on the walls, ceiling and table. At night, flying bugs filled the room, so we had to sleep with the light on and kill them all night. My daughter was bitten all over. After I emailed them about everything and chased them for a week, they replied that the pousada had provided the service we booked. What an absurd response. NEVER STAY HERE!

Don't count on the Wi-Fi. Service was very poor, and the room maintenance left a lot to be desired. The pousada was dirty, and the bedroom's sea view was spoiled by filthy windows. Breakfast was awful too. A terrible experience!

The view was wonderful, and the rooms were tidy with Egyptian cotton towels. The pousada is lovely, and I had no complaints about cleanliness. Breakfast didn't have many choices, but we were well served. The place offers comfort and quality.
