The breakfast was a plus, but it only starts at 8. This is hostel-style lodging, with a kitchen and lounge guests can use. The towels were worn and torn, and the shower barely worked. They tend to keep the kitchen and lounge windows shut for the air conditioning, which felt closed-in when I got back from the beach and wanted to see the sun and the surroundings. I think other places offer better value.

Rosana made our stay feel special. She was warm, attentive, and always smiling, and her care really stood out. The rooms were spotless, with lovely linens, and everything was clean and well kept. Breakfast was fresh and tasty each morning, clearly made with care. We had a great experience at Hospedaria Conceitual and would happily return and recommend it.

Leaving was the only hard part. I spent Christmas here alone hoping to relax, and ended up feeling like I’d found a huge family. The Christmas dinner was wonderful, the breakfast was great, and the whole place felt comfortable and like home. The owner, Guilherme, erick, and Elis, the tireless housekeeper who never stops trying to make you happy, were all so caring, attentive, and welcoming. The service was incredible. A thousand out of ten, if I could give more, I would.

Breakfast, made by Dani and Katia, was sublime, and somehow got better every day. The women were so friendly and welcoming, and shared tips for outings and interesting things about the island. Erick also made us feel very welcome, and even in the low season it was easy to arrange our arrival time with reception. The Pousada Maravilhosa is easy to find, with quiet streets nearby. It’s beautiful inside, from the cozy reception to the artwork on the walls, and everything was clean and tidy. There’s a shared kitchen for putting together a beach snack, and communication was easy. Our room was extremely comfortable, and we really enjoyed the stay.
