Pousada Discoveries

I had a reservation and arrived at the guesthouse at 5 in the afternoon, but nobody was there. They didn't answer on WhatsApp, so I had to urgently book another hotel to avoid sleeping on the street. Avoid this place.

The owner is incredibly friendly and responsive. They're so attentive that the air conditioning is already on before check-in, or when you get back to your room after a tour. The tour they connected me with was the most affordable of all the places I looked at, and the accommodation is reasonably priced too, so I think I'll stay here again next time. The location is a bit far from the supermarket, which is a shame, but it seems safer than the Centro area.

Right in the city center, with restaurants, banks, markets, and local sights close by. The place is clean, pleasant, and well organized, and the rooms are too. A good choice whether you're just passing through or staying in town longer.

Lia was especially kind and ready to help. The hostel is about ten minutes from the center and Teatre Amazones, and it's very inexpensive. Rooms have air conditioning, and there's a shared kitchen and bathroom. Everything is basic but clean, with the comfort you need for the price.
