The service was awful, and our room looked nothing like the photos. We had booked a double bed and were very disappointed with what we got. Water from the air conditioner dripped straight onto the rusty mini-fridge. The plastic toilet seat was broken and hurt when you sat on it. The outlets were behind the bed, so charging a phone meant moving the bed out of the way. After we reported the problems, we were promised another room and told to pack our things and leave them aside so staff could move us while we were out. I told reception that everything was packed before leaving. When we came back, there was no room available. The receptionist said they couldn't move our things because we had the only key to the room. Really, just one key with no spare? At a beach hotel, someone could easily lose a key while swimming. And are the rooms even cleaned? The treatment was awful. You can get something better for the price.

A complete nightmare, and the worst hotel stay of our lives. We paid 450eur per night for 6nights, which was scandalous for rooms like these. They showed us four different rooms, and we had to move once during our stay. The rooms faced a noisy road, with bare white walls and a disgusting bathroom. They looked worse than a hospital room. There was no water in the fridge, if it can even be called a fridge, and the pool was extremely noisy. The shower water smelled bad and was yellow. The rooms looked nothing like the photos on booking or the website. This must be a joke. See the pictures.

The breakfast buffet was great, especially for a low-cost rental. The pastries seemed either to be made there or bought fresh each day from a good bakery, at least.

We were three and paid for three, but the room had enough space for four, so there was plenty of room. The colorful, friendly Vila is close to the beach. Hope to come back soon.

The people were awesome, and the village and beach are beautiful. It's a great pousada right on the beach, with a nice pool. Breakfast was okay, though I usually start my day with something much more substantial. There was plenty of fruit.
