My Place Hospedaria - Hostel

I've stayed in more than 600 places around the world, and nowhere have I felt as welcomed as I did here. If I could give a hostel a gold medal, this one would get it. I arrived at 7 a.m. after an overnight bus trip. Luz was waiting for me, showed me the room, and offered me a shower and some rest if I wanted. Check-in was supposed to be at 2 p.m., but she didn't mention that once. She also offered breakfast, which wasn't included, and let me do laundry. She gave me tips on what to visit and how to get there and back by public transport. That evening, when I returned, she invited me to have tea, and the two of us ended up having dinner together. We talked about everything as if we'd known each other forever. The bed was clean, and the sheets and blankets smelled freshly washed and ironed. The whole house was tidy and clean, with a balcony and several shared spaces that are great for working or just relaxing. The location is perfect: the bus from the bus station stops almost right outside, as does the bus to the airport. I came for one day, but I'll carry this family with me for life. Thank you 🙏

The owners are incredible, so friendly, welcoming, polite, and kind. They made us feel like family, and I miss them already! The rooms, bathrooms, and other spaces are comfortable, clean, tidy, and cozy. I loved the colorful decor, which feels full of the joyful culture of Bahia. Breakfast is delicious, varied, and very healthy. MY PLACE is really close to UFBA, within walking distance, and it's easy to get from there to other places. I loved my stay and highly recommend MY PLACE, my home in Salvador!

I'd never stayed in a hostel before, and this first visit couldn't have gone better. Lara and dona Luz are wonderful, kind, attentive, and welcoming. I felt at home right away. The place is beautiful and cozy, and all the little details charmed me. Breakfast is delicious and has lots of variety. I also had some other meals there, and the food was really good. I'll definitely come back and tell everyone I know. Thank you so much for everything.

My friends and I loved this place and didn't even want to leave. Everyone welcomed us so warmly, and the hostel itself made the trip worthwhile. It's cozy, beautifully organized, and the rooms are very comfortable. The location is great, close to everything. Breakfast was really good, and I'll miss the coffee and our afternoon chats.
